Olive Osborne, MD

Dr. Olive Osborne has been a board certified ophthalmologist for over 25 years. She completed a vitreoretinal medicine and surgery fellowship at Southern Illinois University where she specialized in retinal diseases such a macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy. She was born and grew up in the Bronx. After completing her college and medical education at Brown University she spent the last 25 years caring and treating patients in central and northeastern sections of the Bronx where she grew up.

Dr. Osborne is on staff at New York Eye and Ear Information/Mount Sinai, Mount Sinai and Montefiore Medical Center. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Retina Specialist, NMA, NYSOS and is currently involved in the formation of the Women Section of the Medical Society of the State of NY.

Dr. Osborne has enjoyed her experience as an ophthalmologist treating entire families and members of her home church. She is very involved in the Harlem community, participating in service projects and community board 10. During her youth she also spent a considerable amount of time in Harlem where her family first established their roots, so she is excited to return to Harlem where she now resides.
